Working Principle:
The nanofiltration system works on the principle of membrane separation technology. It utilizes a specialized nanofiltration membrane that allows water molecules and small solutes to pass through the membrane under a specific pressure, while large molecules, organic matter and most salt ions are retained.
The process involves influent pretreatment, pressurized filtration, membrane separation, and outlet water monitoring. The influent water, which may contain suspended matter and large particle impurities, undergoes preliminary physical and chemical treatment to remove these impurities. Afterward, a high-pressure pump is used to pressurize the pretreated water and push it through the nanofiltration membrane. The small molecules and ions in the water pass through the membrane to form clean water; while larger pollutants and salts are retained on the other side of the membrane. Finally, the outlet water is tested by a water quality monitor to ensure that it meets usage standards.
